Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the healthcare location's needs. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or potential disruptions. Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized persons within the healthcare location. Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed. Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and / or directing individuals as appropriate for the healthcare setting. Complete required reports and logs in a timely and accurate manner as directed by Allied Universal and site management. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available At least two years of security-related experience is required. CPR certification is preferred. Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
