Title Examiner

A company is looking for a Title Examiner.

Key Responsibilities

Search and examine public land records to determine insurability and issue Title Commitments, RESPA Search Reports, and O&E Reports

Compile records affecting real property, including taxes, bankruptcies, and liens, and set requirements for title clearance matters

Collaborate with the Underwriting Department for matters requiring underwriting review and approval

Required Qualifications

Associates degree or equivalent, or five plus years of related experience and / or training

Ability to read and interpret industry journals and financial reports

Proficient in Microsoft Suite

Strong analytical skills to define problems and draw valid conclusions

Experience with public records search engines and closing software programs
