Tax Manager / Sr Tax Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Tax Manager or Sr Tax Manager. This role involves engaging in a variety of accounting and tax-related tasks to ensure compliance and provide valuable insights to our clients. The position offers hybrid flexibility following the completion of training. Essential skills include a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, 5-7+ years of public accounting tax experience, experience working with clients / entity partnership returns, sales tax preparation, and financial statement reviews, experience with tax software, and CPA / EA or eligibility.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, conducting research to address complex tax issues and develop effective client solutions, assisting with intermediate and advanced year-end tax planning and strategies for individuals and businesses, demonstrating knowledge of sales tax rules and compliance, maintaining and strengthening client relationships by providing accurate, proactive, and timely communication, serving as a resource for junior staff, providing guidance and mentoring to build their expertise, advising clients on intermediate to advanced tax and accounting issues, and using historical financial data to assess trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.

This is a permanent position based out of Tigard, OR. The pay range for this position is $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 / yr.
