Accounting Specialist Location : Calabasas, CA Pay : $23–$27 / hour (based on experience) Type : Contract-to-Hire | Fully Onsite

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team in Calabasas. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will be responsible for handling a variety of accounting tasks, supporting both accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with month-end processes.

Key Responsibilities :

Process and verify vendor invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports with accuracy and in a timely manner.

Assist with accounts receivable functions, including preparing invoices and tracking customer payments.

Perform bank and credit card reconciliations, researching and resolving discrepancies.

Maintain organized records of financial transactions for audit readiness.

Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

Respond to vendor and client inquiries professionally and promptly.

Assist with special projects and reporting as needed by the accounting team.

Qualifications :

2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).

Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Pay Details : $23.00 to $27.00 per hour
