Senior Level Accounting Clerk | Accounting Clerk [COC0035034]

ProSidian seeks a Senior Level Accounting Clerk for program support on a contract basis located in Charlotte, NC across the Mid Atlantic Region supporting strategic delivery of Government and Public Services Sector Human Capital Solutions through Temporary Help Services and Recruiting / Staff Augmentation capabilities for the City of Charlotte (COC).

Seeking Senior Level Accounting Clerk candidates with relevant Government and Public Services Sector experience to support professional services engagement for Government and Public Services Sector Clients such as COC. This is a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Accounting Clerk Functional Area Professional - Staffing Augmentation and Recruiting Services Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

Job Overview

Provide services and support as a Staffing Augmentation and Recruiting Services (Senior Level Accounting Clerk) in the Government and Public Services Industry Sector focusing on Human Capital Solutions for clients such as City of Charlotte (COC) | Charlotte Cooperative Purchasing Alliance (CCPA) Generally Located in CONUS - Charlotte, NC and across the Mid Atlantic Region (of country / world).

Responsibilities and Duties - Senior Level Accounting Clerk | Accounting Clerk [COC0035034]

  • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and reports.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing.
  • Monitor compliance with accounting policies.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years accounting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • Skills Required

  • GAAP knowledge, accounting software expertise, analysis.

  • Accuracy, analytical thinking, integrity.

The ideal candidate is advanced with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word, proficient with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio, and the ability to quickly learn other tools, as necessary.
