Travel Nursing Job Details Job Title : Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) Location : Asheville, NC 28801 Unit : Labor and Delivery (16 beds) Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Assignment Shift : 6 : 45 AM – 7 : 15 PM (12-hour day shifts) Hours per Week : 36 Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 9 / 22 / 2025 – End : 12 / 22 / 2025) Patient Ratios : 1 : 1, 1 : 2 EMR : Cerner, Fetal ink Estimated Weekly Salary : $1620-$1660 L&D Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – North Carolina or compact state Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience High-risk L&D and immediate newborn care skills required Required certifications : NRP, BLS / ALS, Advanced Fetal Monitoring At least 1 year of overall nursing experience Preferred : Circulating experience in L&D setting Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills L&D RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a high-acuity Labor & Delivery unit Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-hyst procedures Monitor fetal and maternal well-being using advanced electronic fetal monitoring equipment Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including charge nurses, PCTs, CSTs, and fellow RNs Float as needed to MFMU, MOMB, and NICU units Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR Uphold hospital policies, safety standards, and best practices in clinical patient care Apply now to take the next step in your nursing career with this exciting travel L&D RN job and experience the best of North Carolina nursing opportunities!
