Job Summary :
The Acquisitions Associate supports One Health’s growth and strategic initiatives by identifying, evaluating, and developing opportunities across primary care and specialty care physician practices. This role combines market research, business analysis, and sales development to generate qualified leads, assess acquisition targets, and collaborate on clinical operations initiatives.
The Acquisitions Associate will also play a key role in due diligence for potential acquisitions, serve as a liaison with the Management Services Organization (MSOs), and provide oversight support for Accountable Care Organization (ACO) partnerships, ensuring alignment with One Health’s clinical and business goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead Generation & Qualification
Identify, develop, and qualify new business opportunities and sales leads.
Market Research & AnalysisReview and analyze market trends in the healthcare marketplace.
Research and evaluate consolidation opportunities in targeted specialties (e.g., podiatry, rheumatology, neurology, allergy).Provide insights to guide strategic decisions and clinical operations improvements.Business Evaluation & Methodology DevelopmentDesign and develop evaluation methodologies for clinical operations.
Assess operational and financial performance of prospective acquisition targets.Acquisition SupportAssist in the acquisition of primary care and specialty care entities.
Conduct pre-closing due diligence, including :Financial analysis and quality of earnings review.
Regulatory and compliance assessment.Operational and workforce evaluation.Risk identification and mitigation.Support post-acquisition integration planning as needed.Collaboration & CoordinationWork closely with One Health’s MSO to coordinate shared services and streamline operations.
Act as an internal resource for ACO management, serving as the intermediary between ACO partners and internal physicians and clinical staff.Qualifications and Skills
Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in business development, healthcare consulting, market research, or related roles.Experience in healthcare provider organizations, MSOs, or ACOs strongly preferred.Background in financial analysis, due diligence, or M&A activities a plus.Skills & CompetenciesStrong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.Solid understanding of healthcare delivery models, reimbursement, and market dynamics.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to build relationships and collaborate across diverse stakeholders.Detail-oriented with strong project management and organizational abilities.Job Requirements
