SALES MANAGER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Lead, develop, and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Identify and implement strategies to increase revenue and expand market share in the auto body parts aftermarket industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, including body shops, dealerships, fleet services, and wholesalers.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing reports and insights to senior management.
- Develop and implement sales plans, promotional campaigns, and pricing strategies to enhance business growth.
- Ensure a superior customer service experience through professional interactions and effective problem-solving.
- Collaborate with the purchasing and inventory teams to ensure optimal stock levels and product availability.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Train and mentor sales associates, fostering a high-performance sales culture.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of auto body parts, pricing structures, and industry regulations.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
SALES MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS :
High School Diploma / GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the auto body parts aftermarket industry.Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to analyze sales data, forecast trends, and develop action plans accordingly.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and sales management software.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound business decisions.Self-motivated, results-driven, and highly organized.Ability to multitask and prioritize workload efficiently.Knowledge of auto body parts, aftermarket distribution, and the automotive industry is a plus.SALES MANAGER PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT :
