Job Summary : This position is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining crane equipment, including mobile cranes (All Terrain, Rough Terrain, Crawler Cranes, Boom Trucks, knuckle booms, bucket trucks, etc.). Candidates should have mechanic experience with electrical and hydraulics; experience with heavy equipment and cranes is preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

• At least 2 years of experience as a Mobile Crane Mechanic / Technician, capable of operating and inspecting cranes to diagnose defects.
• Knowledge of CANBUS, PAT, EKS, ECOS, LICCON, and Greer systems.
• Inspect parts for damage or wear using micrometers and gauges.
• Read and interpret operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Test mechanical, electronic, electrical, and hydraulic systems post-repair to ensure proper operation and OEM compliance.
• Prepare for jobs by verifying parts and drawings for accuracy.
• Work independently without direct supervision.
• Adhere to safety requirements, manufacturer procedures, and regulations.
• Complete work reports, hours reports, work orders, and expense reports accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service and communication.
• Ability to work overtime, including weekends; travel periodically for 1-4 day field assignments. Shop technicians work 40-50 hours / week; field technicians 40-80 hours / week based on customer needs.
• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record are required; CDL preferred.
