Job Description

Teledyne Instruments Inc. dba Teledyne Tekmar has an exciting opening for a Field Service Technician in the Atlanta, GA region.

Summary

Provide on-site service and installation of instrumentation, Service Contract sales and application support for new products

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform on-site installation, diagnose performance issues, repair, and preventative maintenance for products
• Promote, sell, and support service products
• Provide technical support to customers via telephone and on-site visits
• Assist as escalation engineer for difficult, delicate or on-going situations as needed

Education and / or Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry or related scientific study; would also consider those with an Associate's degree (A. A.) in Engineering or an equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and 2 to 5 years related experience in laboratory troubleshooting / repairing analytical equipment and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Requirements

Ability to travel including some overnight travel up to 75% of the time - A valid driver's license is required for this role
