Account Executive

Location : Remote with regional travel (23 days / week)

Employment Type : Full-Time

Do you thrive in face-to-face interactions and enjoy helping small businesses succeed? We're looking for a motivated Field Sales & Program Outreach Specialist to join our team and help bring a transformative new program to life in local communities. This role blends outside sales, onboarding support, and strategic outreachperfect for someone who enjoys being on the move and making a real impact.

What You'll Do

  • Territory Engagement (23 days / week in the field) :
  • Travel within your assigned region (up to 2 hours from home base) to meet prospective businesses in person.
  • Conduct door-to-door outreach in targeted towns to introduce and promote our program.
  • Present and pitch the opportunity to business owners, sparking interest and guiding them through the application and vetting process.
  • Follow up via phone and email to support onboarding and answer inquiries.
  • Community & Event Support :
  • Collaborate with the Field Manager to plan and host local recruitment events (e.g., lunch & learns, town halls, coffee chats).
  • Build relationships with community influencers such as chambers of commerce and economic development organizations.
  • Sales Operations & CRM Management :
  • Track lead activity and manage your pipeline in Salesforce.
  • Import and organize lead data from Excel into Salesforce weekly.
  • Assign leads to the sales team and prospect for new opportunities.
  • Monitor incoming leads and ensure smooth flow through the sales funnel.
  • Create and maintain sales reports and dashboards.
  • Analyze lead performance metrics (conversion rates, cost per lead, etc.).
  • Partner with internal teams to improve sales processes and applicant experience.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or sales support.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
  • Experience with lead tracking, reporting, and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills; familiarity with ACT!, Goldmine, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable conducting online research and navigating multiple systems.
  • Professional, enthusiastic, and highly organized.
  • Ability to travel and work in-market for up to 8 hours / day.
  • Preferred Skills

  • Prior outside sales or field marketing experience.
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage diverse responsibilities.
  • Experience supporting or collaborating with a sales team.
  • Quick learner with a proactive approach to hands-on training.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract position based out of Paducah, KY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
