About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist RRT NICU / PICU

Profession : Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum 2 years preferred

License : State licensed required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT

Description :

Responsible for providing respiratory therapy services to neonates, pediatric, and adult patients.

Must have experience in a Level 4 NICU and pediatrics.

Willing to accept first-time travelers with a strong skill set and experience.

Required skills include ABG interpretation, aerosol setup, and assistance in high-risk deliveries.

Experience with high-frequency jet ventilation and ECMO is crucial.

Candidate must be comfortable with a 12 : 1 patient ratio.

Daily census may include 6-7 ventilated patients.

The unit also cares for patients diagnosed with critical care respiratory therapy conditions.

Flexibility in scheduling is necessary, including working every other weekend and holiday.

On-call duties are not required for this position.

Travelers may be required to float to different departments as needed.
