Our Corporate Real Estate team is on the front lines of procuring, designing and developing spaces at all our hubs, stations, and city locations across the world. From airport affairs and business services to planning and development, this team is responsible for all our leases and major construction and renovation projects, system wide.
Job Overview and Responsibilities
The Corporate Real Estate (CRE) Safety Management System (SMS) Manager is responsible for facilitating, advising, and training Safety Risk Management (SRM) for all functions within CRE. Additionally, the SMS Manager will liaise with other United Airlines' divisions as well as various Airport Authorities as a safety subject matter expert pertaining to projects, processes, procedures, and safety / regulatory items. This role will regularly engage with senior levels of leadership and will require a level of comfort in having complex discourse at an Executive level. This is a Chicago-based hybrid position, that will require three days in office per week.

The base pay range for this role is $99,750.00 to $129,924.00. The base salary range / hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and / or long-term incentive compensation awards.
