Transportation / Logistics Analyst

Position Summary :

This position is responsible for monitoring, analyzing and supporting domestic transportation and logistic activities. This is an exempt role reporting to the Associate Director of Supply Chain.

Primary Duties :

• Monitor & support domestic transportation activities.
• Monitor carrier performance through robust dashboard reporting.
• Primary internal contact and resource for carrier complaints resolution, tracking, and dashboard reporting (damage, lost, delay shipments) and submit claims to carriers timely to get a refund when possible.
• Participate in weekly meetings with carriers and internal stakeholders; taking point as needed.
• Support the identification, scoping, and implementation of cost / service and internal process improvement initiatives.
• Support freight invoice verification and develop a process to audit freight charges.
• Support the team for ASNs, STOs, QA release etc. to make inventory available at the warehouse for shipping.
• Other duties as assigned.
