Join our team as a day shift, full-time Orthopedic Clinic, Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in Tyler, Texas. You may be eligible for a sign on bonus up to $1000.

Get to Know Your Team :

  • UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 432 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with a Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.

    • Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a physician.
  • Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes.
  • Clinical duties may include rooming patients, taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by physician.

    • Qualifications

    Job Requirements :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current licensure as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant

    • Preferred Job Requirements :

  • 6 months' medical clinic experience
  • BLS certification within 30 days of hire
