Responsibilities
We are looking for a Space Acquisition Systems Engineer to provide systems engineering and technical advisory services to a rapidly expanding Government Intelligence Community (IC) customer. The customer is developing the next generation of space and ground systems, architectures, and hardware and software solutions. The Space Acquisition Systems Engineer will serve as the System Program Office (SPO) Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing programmatic oversight and acquisition support to facilitate Developer deployment of new space protection capabilities into space operations. The Space Acquisition Systems Engineer collaborates within a team of mission-related SMEs to plan, develop, and execute new acquisitions / ECPs, guide the program through Milestone Decision Authority (MDA) directed reviews, and provide technical analysis, as required, to assist the Government customer in monitoring contract execution. This position acts as a strategic advisor to Senior Customers and must have hands-on experience in designing, building and maintaining continuous integration / continuous delivery build pipelines.
