Manufacturing Program Manager-MH-60M Block 1 Modifications- SOF GLSS 2 Program

Description
Key Responsibilities
- Program Execution & Oversight
- Lead planning, execution, and closure of the MH-60M Block 1 modification program for seven aircraft.
- Manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to ensure timely induction, modification, and delivery.
- Monitor and report on cost, schedule adherence, and quality performance metrics.
- Manufacturing & Production Management
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Resolve non-conforming configurations, tooling issues, and obsolescence with production engineering.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and internal quality control procedures.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Facilitate communication between engineering, procurement, quality assurance, and logistics teams.
- Align departmental goals to support program milestones and delivery schedules.
- Customer & Vendor Interface
- Serve as primary point of contact for the MH-60 PMO regarding cost, schedule, and technical issues.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely delivery of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).
- Provide technical support at customer facilities as needed.
- Reporting & Communication
- Conduct bi-weekly production status reviews and semi-annual Program Management Reviews (PMRs).
- Submit monthly financial status reports and maintain accurate task order execution data.
- Communicate risks and recommend corrective actions to stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).7+ years of experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing program management.Proven experience managing complex modification or MRO programs, preferably with rotary-wing platforms.Strong understanding of ECNs, MWOs, and DoD aircraft modification processes.Proficiency in project management tools and ERP / MRP systems.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.Work Environment
Primary work location is SOFSA facilities in Lexington, KY.Occasional travel to customer sites (e.g., Fort Eustis, VA) may be required.May involve working in hangar environments with exposure to aircraft and maintenance operations.Employee benefits include the following :
