About the Unit
The Customer Service Department ensures the placement, shipment and invoicing of all sales for Yara North America; being responsible for sales from over 100 terminals with hundreds of different products.
Team members work in a fast paced and hectic environment, while always keeping a positive attitude and customer focus.
The Customer Support Specialists shift will be from 10 : 00AM to 7 : 00PM.
Responsibilities
- Support customers on order requests made via phone, fax, or email
- Be the main Yara contact for customers, plants, transportation, credit and marketing team, concerning all orders and shipment issues
- Develop full knowledge of products, inventories, sites specifics, as well as Customer Service and Supply Chain procedures, for sound decision making of every order request
- Ensure proper alignment between all parts involved in the order, to prevent problems resulting in a financial impact or operational errors
- Hold critical judgment of orders, to identify possible shipment delays or improper pricing
- Portray a positive image of Yara through daily contact with customers and evaluation of customer needs, delivering support in a polite and respectful manner
Profile
- Minimum three years of experience within Customer Service
- Work experience in a global organization or Associate Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related fields
- Proficient communication skills and problem solving skills
- Proven multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Willingness to contribute to a diverse group
- ERP knowledge, preferably SAP
- Good Microsoft skills, specifically MS Outlook and Excel
