Corporate Accounting Manager

ASC Engineering Solutions is looking for an Accounting Manager at our Oak Brook, Illinois headquarter office that is self-motivated to work directly with leaders in the business to ensure all aspects of Financial Statements comply with US GAAP. This individual should be creative, dedicated and able to work with a collaborative culture. He or she must have the ability to prioritize, troubleshoot, and work closely with other team members to identify and resolve issues, improve processes, and share data.

How You Will Help

Manages people, process and systems to ensures accurate and timely preparation of general ledger data, including account reconciliations.

Oversees systems, processes and controls for gathering data, analyzing information, confirming the accuracy of reports and provides recommendations for improving accounting methods.

Establishes and improves internal controls, processes, and guidelines for accounting transactions.

Understands financial and business operations at the company and supports cross functional teams in understanding the accounting impacts of business activities.

Responsible for core accounting programs, including select functions of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.

Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.

Coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.

Presents recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.

Supports implementation of a new enterprise resource planning software.

Supports other projects within finance and the overall business, providing accounting support and expertise where applicable.

Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

What You Will Bring

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA or MBA preferred.

5-7 years experience and supervisory experience a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent with Microsoft applications.

Ability to multitask and work effectively with others in a team environment.

Self-starter with excellent, communication, problem solving and analytical skills.

Detail, deadline and goal-oriented.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 USD annually
