Job descriptionMonday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM (flexible for some remote work) Protected lunch hour 1 : 1 support from clinical and administrative staff Modern clinic space with 10 esketamine treatment rooms and a TMS suite Strong patient volume and established referral base Competitive salary : $300,000 annually, with growth potential Comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision) Paid time off and CME allowance 401(k) retirement plan (in progress) Malpractice insurance provided MD or DO with board certification / eligibility in psychiatry Unrestricted Virginia medical license (or ability to obtain) Interest in advanced treatments for depression (training provided in TMS / esketamine / ketamine) Experience supervising mid‑level providers preferred Dedication to compassionate, evidence‑based care Practice cutting‑edge psychiatry in a collaborative, well‑resourced setting Focus on patient care without billing or administrative burdens Step into a meaningful leadership role with real impact on patients' lives Access opportunities in teaching, research partnerships, and thought leadership Help expand a model of care that brings hope to patients who have run out of options elsewhere

About Us
McLean Neuropsychiatric Treatment Center is a physician-led private practice dedicated to helping patients with treatment-resistant depression (TRD). We offer advanced treatments including TMS, intranasal esketamine, IV / IM ketamine, and comprehensive medication management. Our philosophy is simple : We never give up on patients, and every advance in research is another tool we can use to restore hope to our patients.
The Role
We are seeking a full‑time psychiatrist to join our growing team and help shape the future of TRD care in Northern Virginia. In this role, you will :
- Lead comprehensive TRD evaluations for new patients (60‑minute intakes).
- Provide ongoing medication management for patients with complex depression and other psychiatric conditions.
- Supervise mid‑level providers (NPs and PAs) who conduct follow‑ups and support TMS / esketamine care.
- Collaborate with a highly skilled team of clinicians, technicians, and administrators.
This role is ideal for a psychiatrist who wants to take ownership of high‑acuity patient care and guiding a team that is deeply committed to patient recovery.
