Director Of Nursing
Our client, Healthcare Services Provider, is seeking a Director of Nursing to join their team. As a Director of Nursing, you will be part of the Nursing Department supporting mental health and behavioral health services. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, compassion, and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
Location : Flagstaff, AZ
Pay Range : $125,000
Shift : M-F 8am-5pm
What's the Job?
Lead and coordinate nursing operations across inpatient psychiatric and outpatient services to ensure high standards of care.
Manage staff scheduling, coverage, and resource allocation to maintain efficient and compassionate care delivery.
Oversee compliance with applicable nursing standards, policies, procedures, and legal regulations, including The Joint Commission requirements.
Collaborate with medical practitioners and healthcare providers to improve service quality and patient outcomes.
Drive quality improvement initiatives, infection control programs, and staff training to promote a safe and respectful environment for all members and staff.
What's Needed?
Current license as a Registered Nurse in Arizona or a state within the Nursing Compact licensure agreement.
Master's Degree in psychiatric / mental health nursing or related field, or equivalent education and experience in mental health care.
Minimum of five years of nursing experience in behavioral health, with at least three years in supervisory roles overseeing inpatient psychiatric care.
Ability to interpret clinical data, budgets, and personnel information effectively.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
