Position Summary : We are seeking a Shipping / Receiving Clerk for our client located in Decatur, AL. In this role, you will assist customer with paperwork, tickets, answering phones & filing, this is a fast-paced environment must be a quick learner. Responsibilities : Separate tickets as they print, File incoming PO tickets, Pull tickets in Vendor file Will Call Customers, assist customers with getting paperwork signed, Handle collecting payments, Receiving, Generate PO, Enter receiving into Metalware, Check and post Receiving, File PO's, Trucks, Set Routes, Enter routes in manifest, E-mail manifest to all sales & administration as instructed, Handle all call from Drivers, Scheduling mill Trucks, All appointment for incoming trucks, Maintain internet & Microsoft outlook calendar, Processing, Release loads out of Blytheville, Book trucks for loads, Returning JMS Drivers, Check off BOL's against the manifest, Verify signatures, dates and payments, Scan BOL's into IMS 21,File BOL's, File driver logs, Shop, Handle shop needs, i.e. location request, SO's, Mill Test Report, Scan MTR into IMS 21,File MTR Check Vendor files daily to ensure all material has arrived or been picked up in a timely manner. Verify daily that all SO's are filled in the correct bins.
