Teardown Production Technician

WORKING HOURS : 6 : 00AM to 4 : 30PM Monday – Thursday, which includes 2 paid breaks and 30-minute lunch. No weekends!

Job Summary / Objective of Job :

The Teardown Technician is responsible for tearing down Heavy-Duty Transmissions and Differentials to prepare them for remanufacturing.

Summary of Essential Job Functions :

• Remove all unnecessary Transmission and / or Differential parts such as bolts, airlines, air components, bearings and catastrophic failure gears.
• Fully disassemble Transmission and / or Differential units based on SOPs
• Take care of parts so they can be reused.
• Place parts neatly and organized so they can be easily washed.
• Hit Disassembly / Teardown daily goals.
• Cross-train on alternate assignments and perform duties in other work areas as needed.
