We are seeking a full-time
Inpatient Care Nursing Assistant
responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care and assisting nursing staff and providers. In this role, you'll be a crucial part of patient care, assisting nurses, and ensuring a smooth transition for patients. From helping with blood testing to serving food with care, you'll play a key role in their well-being. On the administrative side, you'll document care, keep things organized, and contribute to quality improvement. Expect a dynamic schedule with shifts covering days, nights, weekends, and holidays. About the Recovery Care Unit
At our surgical specialty hospital, the 33-bed Recovery Care Unit is a vital component for the continuation of care for our surgical patients needing an overnight stay. On average, our patients stay one to two nights, where our dedicated team prioritizes a patient-centered approach to care. As a smaller, niche hospital, we emphasize genuine relationships and a safe and respectful environment. Being physician-owned, we rely heavily on word-of-mouth referrals, honoring the importance of our guiding principles : people, progress, and quality. Shifts :
Three (12) hour shifts per week, every third weekend and every third holiday.
Schedule :
This position is scheduled to work both 12-hour day shifts and 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00AM-7 : 30PM and 7 : 00PM-7 : 30AM). In a 6-week schedule, you can anticipate working 2 weeks of nights (6 shifts) and 4 weeks of days (12 shifts).
Education and Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Positivity, a great work ethic, and the ability to learn will help set you up for success!
CNA certification preferred.
BLS certification required; can be obtained upon hire.
One plus year of nursing assistant experience can be helpful.
