Pool Guard

Job Summary : Independently performs duties at a swimming pool to protect life, prevent accidents, and assist persons in distress; enforces pool safety regulations; conducts or participates in water safety instructions, swimming instructions, and other recreational aquatic programs; maintains pool and pool area; and performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications :
Training and Experience : A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from high school.
License Requirement : Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license, as required (Hawai'i Type 3 or equivalent); and possession of the following valid certifications :
These certificates must be maintained on a current basis thereafter.
Tests : Applicants will be required to qualify on an appropriate examination.
The examination will consist of a qualifying performance evaluation.
Work Shift / Schedule : 7 days / week operation (United States of America)
