About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales and Marketing to join their team. The successful candidate will be a hands-on, strategic leader responsible for driving revenue growth, market expansion, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. This executive will be tasked with aligning sales and marketing strategies with business objectives, managing a national and international team, and building systems to support long-term scalability and innovation. Key responsibilities include developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans, leading and mentoring sales teams, forecasting and budgeting, and expanding the company's international presence through OEM and distribution channels. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in small, growth-oriented B2B organizations, experience in OEM and global distribution markets, and a strategic, consultative sales approach with high technical acumen. They should be adept at CRM / MarTech implementation, possess a strong ownership mentality, and be capable of driving change collaboratively. Preferred attributes include experience in small, nimble companies, familiarity with OEM and distribution channels, and international sales exposure. The role requires a candidate who is comfortable with B2B, consultative, and solution-based selling, and experience in CRM selection and implementation is strongly preferred. A strong technical aptitude is also valued, with an engineering background being a plus.
