Job descriptionBachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field or related work experience 5+ years of experience in Linux server design and administration 5+ years of experience in Networking Experience with networking services including virtual and physical network functions Professional experience with BGP, VXLAN and other WAN technologies Experience with Identity Management tools, e.g., FreeIPA, Keycloak Proven experience in designing virtualized compute environments (Kubernetes, Docker, LXC, KVM) Knowledge of Proxmox, KVM, Nginx, Apache, Exim and Postfix Hands-on experience in Linux scripting, Firewall, DNS Programming aptitude in Python, Java, Go, Ruby, PHP Experience with cloud-related tools / products (Docker Swarm, Open vSwitch, Ceph) Experience in hosting Experience with Pterodactyl Familiarity with network device configuration and management (Arista, Cisco, Juniper) Proven success record of working with internet organizations to set industry direction Employment type : Full-time Location : Remote with option to work from offices in Post Falls, ID; Spokane, WA; and other satellite locations Salary : Up to $150,000 100% employer-paid medical, dental and vision for employees Annual review with raise option 22 days Paid Time Off accrued annually, and 4 holidays After 3 years, PTO increases to 29 days. Overview : Corporate Tools is hiring a Senior Data Center Linux Engineer for $150,000 / year. You will be a traditional company employee. This is a remote position, but if you're near one of our local offices, you're welcome to come hang out with us in-office as well. Our main offices are in Post Falls, ID, and Spokane, WA; we also have satellite offices in Johnston, IA, Austin, TX, and Salt Lake City, UT. You'll be working 40 hours a week and, of course, enjoy great company benefits.
Responsibilities
- Manage, configure, and maintain Linux servers
- Troubleshoot performance issues, hardware failures, and software bugs
- Develop automation scripts
- Ensure secure system configurations
- Deploy and maintain containerized applications
