Responsibilities Work in the Pediatric ICU (PICU) of a hospital setting Requires floating to the Pediatric unit as needed 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00pm to 7 : 30am, three shifts per week 14-week assignment Care for critically ill pediatric patients, including those needing sedation, trach, intubation, NAVA, Vapotherm, CRRT (minimal), and ICP / Bolts Every other weekend required Duties include providing bedside shift reports, regular hourly rounding, and utilizing AIDET communication standards Required to sign an attestation confirming awareness of BSSR, AIDET, and rounding practices Expected to participate in emergency response activities as needed Returning travelers may not work more than one year without taking a one-year break COVID vaccination is not required Requirements Active WI or compact RN license Minimum 2 years of PICU experience Current BLS and PALS certifications required Excellent communication skills with proficiency in AIDET, bedside shift reporting, and hourly rounding Great customer service and phone etiquette skills First-time travelers are not accepted Travelers cannot reside within a 60-mile radius of the facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-626090.
