We are looking for eager Mechanical Engineers who are looking to join an exciting, growing business in Detroit. They are working directly with the 'Big 3' Automotive companies in the area, along with different Tier 1 suppliers and other EV manufacturers.
The Role
As a Mechanical Engineer, you can expect the following roles;
ø Creating designs for the mechanical aspects for completely custom materials handling projects.
ø Completing calculations for structural and load capacities.
ø Assisting with cradle-to-grave projects including design, manufacturing, comissioning and handoff.
ø Working with Sales in helping to create and present proposals.
Ideal Candidate
To be considered for the Mechanical Engineer position, you should have the following skillset;
ø 2+ years working within the Automotive industry.
ø Prior experience working with complete custom system design.
ø 2+ years working with AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
ø In-depth knowledge of working with a variety of conveyance systems.
ø Knowledge of power and free conveyor systems is a big plus.
The Package
The client I'm working with is offering a fantastic benefits package including;
ø Base salary $75,000 to $110,000, along with a quarterly and annual bonus.
ø 15 days PTO and standard company holidays.
