Security Investigator
The Security Investigator is a key role that supports the Security & Asset Protection Program within the Autos and Metals Recycling (AMR) Division. This position is essential in developing and operating a comprehensive program to protect assets and secure facilities across all functional and geographic units. The primary focus will be on conducting fraud and theft investigations, with additional responsibilities including threat and site vulnerability assessments and implementing security controls.

Work Environment :
The work environment is a large metal recycling plant situated at the Port of Oakland. The facility includes an open yard and enclosed production areas where materials such as steel, aluminum, brass, and copper are processed. Employees are exposed to all weather conditions and must be equipped with safety shoes, hearing protection, respirators, and face shields due to physical hazards like noise, fumes, and dirt. The role involves handling multiple safety and maintenance issues, with variable workloads and potential pressure during peak times.

Pay and Benefits :
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00 / yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
