Position : Maintenance Technician [1047]

Program : Amarillo, Texas – Maintenance

Salary : $32,572.80 - $33,467.20 Annually

Shift available : Full-time

Essential duties and responsibilities :

• Staff will maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care language
• Performs moderately complex work in maintenance, grounds keeping and building-construction trades and in the Motor Pool
• Required to work between departments including maintenance and motor pool
• In order to ensure effective and safe facility operations, the Technician's work involves maintaining and repairing buildings / residential facilities, utility systems, furnishings, grounds, stationary equipment, motorized equipment and minor vehicle repairs and maintenance
• The technician should have skill and knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical systems
• Flexibility in work hours is needed, including on-call duty as assigned
• Works under the general supervision of the Maintenance Director with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment and performs work as assigned
• Adheres to TPC Business Code of Conduct and reports concerns if ethical and / or business standards defined in the code are compromised
