Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and / or unauthorized access. Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas within the retail environment. Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to maintain a welcoming atmosphere. Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by site procedures. Support emergency response efforts as needed, including assisting with evacuations or providing directions to emergency responders. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience. CPR certification and / or First Aid certification is preferred. A valid guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
