Position Summary
Under moderate supervision, the Network Analyst will work as part of the Infrastructure IT team to support network operations, assist with hardware maintenance, monitors network and cloud-system performance, and provide support to the Help Desk team. The Network Analyst contributes to troubleshooting efforts, implements routine infrastructure updates, and ensures compliance with IT standards and security protocols.
Salary : $63,440
Qualifications
Education and Experience / Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An Associate's degree (or higher) in IT, Networking, or a related field is preferred but not required.
6+ years of progressively responsible experience working in an IT Help Desk role or 2+ years in a Network Infrastructure role is required. Networking or Microsoft Azure certifications are a plus.
Must have valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation for travel between sites.
Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP) and familiarity with Windows-based systems.
Willingness to learn cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure) and network monitoring tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-service-oriented mindset

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Installation and supervised configuration of network hardware to include but not limited to UPS's, firewalls, switches, access points, cameras, and speakers.
Assist in monitoring and maintaining network infrastructure to include UPS's, firewalls, switches, access points, cameras, speakers.
Troubleshooting and resolution of network connectivity issues, escalating complex issues to senior team members.
Provide support and resolution of Help Desk escalated tickets as assigned.
Assist in documenting network configurations, procedures, and inventory to ensure accurate records.
Support routine maintenance tasks such as patch scheduling, system updates, and hardware checks as assigned, some off hours required.
Monitor system alerts and report any anomalies in network performance or availability to senior team members.
Assist with basic backup and recovery tasks, following established protocols for data protection.
Learn and adhere to Wheeler's Change Management and Problem Management policies.
Participate in team efforts to maintain compliance with IT standards and assist with audit-related tasks as directed.
Continues to develop knowledge and understanding about the history, traditions, values, family systems, and artistic expression of groups served as well as uses appropriate methodological approaches, skills, and techniques that reflect an understanding of culture.
