Job Description
- Advise clients on cybersecurity compliance requirements for government contracts, including NIST and CMMC standards.
- Draft, review, and negotiate cybersecurity-related provisions in government contracts and subcontracts.
- Assist clients in responding to cybersecurity incidents and reporting obligations under government regulations.
- Conduct legal research on emerging cybersecurity laws and regulations impacting government contractors.
- Provide guidance on data protection and privacy laws as they relate to government contracts.
- Support government investigations and audits related to cybersecurity compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address cybersecurity legal risks effectively.
- Deliver training and updates to clients on evolving cybersecurity requirements in the government sector.

The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate should have :
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity regulations, including NIST and CMMC frameworks.
- Experience in government contracts law with a focus on cybersecurity compliance.
- Excellent legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.
