We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage and process all transactions for our multi‑location food and beverage distribution company. This role requires detail‑oriented, organized individuals with excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Review accounts, release orders, and generate credit hold reports.
• Prepare A / R aging reports and manage collections.
• Answer phone calls and assist brokers.
• Prepare bank deposits, scan checks, and run cash‑only bank runs.
• Print broker deposits, prepare posting slips, and post payments in AFS.
• Post intercompany payments for Shaw's.
• Make copies of NS checks for correctional accounts and mail checks to NY.
• Enter orders for house accounts.
• Perform Manual Deal Pricing as needed.
• Send copies of invoices to brokers / customers.
• Conduct weekly A / R meetings with brokers to review delinquent accounts.
• Send A / R aging, delinquent, and statement reports to brokers (Tuesdays) and send house account statements.
• Resolve deductions / short ships with warehouse manager.
• Collaborate with brokers to track orders and address delivery issues.
• Verify credits, double‑check pricing, and handle DSDs with chain accounts.
• Send emails to brokers to collect DSD or store stamps.
• Participate in weekly team meetings and file chain copies.
