The City of O'Fallon, Missouri , one of the fastest-growing and most desirable communities in the region, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Streets Superintendent to lead the operations and maintenance of the City's street system. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and quality of O'Fallon's roadway infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, direct, and oversee the daily operations and activities of the Street Division to ensure effective and efficient maintenance services.

Manage the City's annual pavement maintenance program, including bid preparation, contract management, project inspection, and compliance monitoring.

Coordinate with the Engineering Department on capital improvement projects related to streets and infrastructure.

Develop, monitor, and administer the division's annual operating budget and capital projects.

Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate division staff while implementing policies and performance standards.

Prepare and present reports, updates, and technical information to City Council and the Public Works Director.

Direct and support emergency response operations related to winter weather, flooding, storms, and other natural or man-made disasters.

Minimum Qualifications

Fifteen (15) years of progressively responsible experience in roadway maintenance, public works, or related operations, including at least five (5) years in a supervisory role.

Demonstrated knowledge of construction, maintenance, and repair practices for streets and related infrastructure.

Familiarity with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Experience managing budgets, contracts, and personnel in a public works setting.

Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Missouri driver's license.
