Vice President Training Program Manager - Global Investment Banking Analyst Training

As the Training Program Manager on the Commercial & Investment Banking (CIB) Learning & Development Team, you will work closely with key business stakeholders, supporting the global investment banking analyst training program and related councils. You will partner closely with business and HR advisors to develop and implement learning initiatives, and participate in HR projects and new initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with subject matter experts and / or vendors to design training solutions that span live classroom, virtual, and hybrid delivery, ensuring course content meets evolving business strategies.
  • Establish strong relationships and ongoing dialogue with key Investment Banking stakeholders in coordination with the team and global L&D colleagues.
  • Identify training needs in partnership with HR Business Advisors, Development, and Training colleagues.
  • Keep key Business and HR stakeholders apprised of new initiatives; monitor and report on analysts’ performance and provide feedback.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of training delivered against program objectives through thoughtful analysis of metrics.
  • Liaise and partner with vendors delivering technical, product, and professional training to ensure successful delivery.
  • Manage and oversee program budgets and other ad‑hoc duties in support of Learning & Development activities.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in learning and development or prior experience in Investment Banking.
  • Solid understanding of investment banking products, people, and processes.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and build partnerships with colleagues at all levels globally.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; confidence in addressing large audiences.
  • Demonstrated passion for training and development.
  • Strong team player, adaptable to a flexible and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to operate effectively under pressure and manage ambiguity while exercising strong judgement and decision making.
  • Experience managing employees and / or projects.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with a focus on implementation.
  • Results oriented, proactive, and initiative-driven.
  • Innovative mindset with strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Previous experience in financial services.
  • Prior public speaking and / or facilitation experience.
