About the Role
We are partnering with a rapidly growing, health-focused consumer goods company on the West Coast that is seeking a Corporate Reporting Manager to join its high-performing Finance & Accounting team. This an exciting opportunity for a technically strong and self-sufficient accounting leader who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of public accounting and public company experience, along with a calm, solutions-oriented mindset.
This position offers a hybrid schedule with two in-office days per week in Oceanside and the opportunity to make a significant impact during a critical phase of the company`s growth journey.
Compensation
Salary : $135,000 - $150,000 DOE
Incentives : 20% target bonus (25% payout last year), 401(k) match, stretch bonus program, and comprehensive health-focused benefits
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of quarterly and annual GAAP-compliant financial statements utilizing Active Disclosure.
- Serve as the main liaison for external auditors during quarterly reviews and the annual audit process.
- Manage AR and GL functions, including oversight of an AR Manager, Collections Specialist, and Senior Accountant.
- Provide technical accounting leadership and ensure SOX-compliant internal controls are maintained.
- Maintain and refine a 13-week cash forecast model to support proactive cash planning.
- Oversee sales tax compliance and filings through Avalara.
- Contribute to ongoing finance system implementations, such as High Radius.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Logistics, and Operations to align financial processes and reporting.
- Operate daily within NetSuite ERP and report to the Director of Corporate Reporting & Treasury.
Candidate Qualifications
Bachelor`s degree in Accounting and active CPA license required.7+ years of total accounting experience, including at least 3 years of people management.Experience in public accounting and / or with publicly traded companies.Proven track record within organizations generating $200M+ in annual revenue.Strong knowledge of GAAP, audit coordination, and financial disclosure processes.History of stable career progression with a focus on technical excellence.Preferred Experience
Familiarity with NetSuite or other major ERP platforms.Exposure to IPO readiness activities or experience in high-growth CPG environments.Demonstrated success in mentoring and developing small accounting teams.Work Environment
