Berkeley College seeks a part-time Institutional Effectiveness Assistant to support the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness during the 2025-26 academic year. This role is pivotal in assisting with data collection and organization for the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) self-study, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards. In addition, the position will provide support to the Director of Institutional Research on select responsibilities, including institutional research, reporting, and assessment initiatives, helping to streamline operational and strategic processes.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
o Assist in gathering and organizing institutional data to support accreditation activities.
o Maintain and organize documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness for MSCHE requirements
o Assist with institutional data reporting, research, and analysis to support decision-making on enrollment, retention, and strategic initiatives.
o Assist in responding to external surveys from entities such as the College Board, U.S. News & World Report, and other organizations.
o Provide support for regulatory and compliance reporting, including IPEDS, Clearinghouse, EADA, GE, and ad hoc internal requests .
o Support analysis of assessment and institutional data to inform planning and continuous improvement.
o Provide administrative assistance to the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness to improve operational efficiency.
