Position Summary : Under the
leadership of the Director for Program Operations and Outreach, the Assistant
Director for Curriculum and Instruction is responsible for supporting the
effective implementation of credit and non-credit pre-college programs, with a
focus on instructional quality, professional development, curriculum review,
and research and evaluation for Early College Preparatory Programs (ECPP). This
position supports program development, training initiatives and curriculum
design to advance the vision and strategic initiatives for the Center for
Pre-College Programs. Occasional weekend and evening hours are expected.
Essential Functions :
Leading curriculum development and review for program offerings :
Supporting program implementation for summer and academic year program offerings :
Leading research and evaluation for ECPP :
Leading professional development and instructional coaching for dual instruction, part-time, and seasonal instructional staff :
Designing and coordinating ECPP-sponsored competitions and spearheading the planning and coordination of CPCP-hosted competitions.
Engaging in grant-writing and fundraising activities to sustain and expand programming.
Supporting the Director with outreach, recruitment, and enrollment efforts for assigned programs :
Supporting CPCP representation within the university and at local, state, and regional levels in the absence of the Director to promote pre-college STEM education and strategic initiatives.

experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.

Salary Information :
In compliance with the NJ Pay Transparency Law, the negotiated annual salary range for this position is $63,129.05-$113,324.04 (USD). NJIT considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses or other items.
