Position Overview :
The Assistant Director for Transfer Admissions reports to the Executive Director of Undergraduate Admissions and will assist with all major areas of the Admissions Office. Primary responsibility will be on the marketing, recruitment and enrollment of Transfer students. The Assistant Director for Transfer Admissions is responsible for managing the daily recruitment efforts of TCNJ's transfer population. Starting with the development of the transfer strategic marketing and recruitment plan, this person oversees the enrollment and is an advocate for the transfer population. Additional responsibilities include managing the transfer scholarship process, the non-matriculation process, the re-enter process and the re-admit process.
Responsibilities :
Develop and implement the marketing plan for the recruitment and enrollment of Transfer Students for the Fall and Spring semesters. This will include managing the transfer scholarship program and supervision of transfer support staff and three counselors. Off-site recuritment required.
Relationship building and maintaining strong working relationships with feeder community colleges. Create new partnerships and attend counselor-in-residence sessions and other specific transfer programs as needed. These will include college fairs, panels, workshops, on-site visits and development / maintenance of Articulation Agreement.
Efficient processing and review of all transfer applications for both fall and spring semesters according to the standards and procedures established by the administration and Admissions Office. Review and use of data and projection reports efficiently. Responsible for non-traditional, non-matrics, re-enter and re-admit populations.
Represent the Office of Admissions on campus-wide planning and conversations with regards to the transfer and non-traditional student populations.
