Position Summary

The Resource Planning Leader plays a strategic and operational role in optimizing deployment, utilization, and long-term success of the consulting workforce. This role bridges tactical staffing with strategic workforce planning, ensuring the right consultants are staffed to the right engagements at the right time.

With a strong understanding of pipeline visibility, sales forecasting, and consultant capability mapping, the Resource Planning Leader anticipates demand, identifies resource gaps, and guides staffing decisions that support both client delivery and organizational growth. This role partners closely with Client Services, Delivery Leadership, Recruiting, Business Operations, and Partner Services to ensure staffing decisions are both data-informed and aligned with human strengths, development goals, and margin targets.

By maintaining visibility into consultant availability, forecasting utilization, and supporting internal mobility, the Resource Planning Leader drives operational efficiency, workforce continuity, and scalable growth across the consulting organization.

Key Responsibilities

Demand Forecasting & Workforce Planning

• Analyze sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and engagement roadmaps to anticipate upcoming staffing needs.
• Maintain real-time visibility into consultant availability, projected end dates, and delivery capacity across service lines.
• Partner with Recruiting and Partner Services to proactively address talent supply gaps.
