Job Description & Requirements Specialty : OR - Operating Room Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 03 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 13 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Local Contract Job Title : Registered Nurse – Trauma Operating Room (OR RN) Location : Miami, FL Employment Type : Permanent, Full-time Shift : 12-Hour Nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM) | Rotating Weekends Pay Range : $39.57 – $53.34 per hour Key Responsibilities Provide direct and comprehensive perioperative nursing care to trauma and surgical patients. Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to ensure safe, effective procedures. Maintain sterile and aseptic techniques at all times. Monitor and document patients’ status during surgical procedures. Participate in emergency interventions as required. Ensure accurate documentation of patient care in compliance with hospital standards and policies. Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly when needed. Requirements Active Florida RN License or Compact RN License (must meet Florida licensing requirements). Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing . BLS (Basic Life Support) – must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Minimum 2 years of trauma or operating room experience in an acute care setting required. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and problem-solving skills. We are an equal opportunity employer.
