Responsible for utilizing solid program management skills and knowledge to lead medium-to-smaller and / or less complex programs. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Works to solution future state processes and gain alignment on strategic decisions along with cross-functional team members.

Core Responsibilities

  • Supports analysis and design of existing and new business processes that span multiple functional areas (sales, operations, finance, care, legal, etc.), products, and customer types
  • Completes assessments of business processes and documents each of the following areas : problem statements, process flows, gap analyses, and solution recommendations
  • Understands the scope of programs as defined by the business requirements and budget process. Participates in key planning milestones.
  • Identifies, confirms, and obtains participation from required cross-functional teams including matrixed project managers, with guidance from Strategic Business Initiative or senior staff. Ensures team clearly understands roles and responsibilities for the duration of the program.
  • Works with the core team to identify and schedule all the work required to fulfill program scope, including identification and management of critical path. Performs management of upstream and downstream dependencies.
  • Creates unique deliverables to help demonstrate complex concepts that can be used to drive cross functional senior leadership discussions.
  • Identifies goals and successes criteria, drives the development and implementation of key goals, objectives, and successes criteria for the program with key stakeholders and core team. Raises conflicts and resolves with the appropriate level of management engagement to build consensus.
  • Manages proposed changes to program parameters and works with Enterprise Program Management and Program Managers to ensure appropriate processes and communications are followed
  • Monitors and ensures quality of program deliverables. Assists core team and key field resources to develop and monitor deployment schedule, strategies, and tools to support the implementation of programs in the field through trials and controlled customer deployments. Works with Strategic Business Initiative to assist in action item resolution and track completion. Ensures program milestones are accomplished and ensures overall timelines are met. Documents all major plan changes in scope, approach and date delivery.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
