About The Position

Job Title : X-Ray Technician

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

License : Must have state license in hand prior to start date

Certifications : ARRT required, BLS required

Must-Have : Previous charge experience preferred

Daily caseload per tech : 30-75 patients per day

Special equipment : Konica U-arm, Phillips, EOS, OEC, Dornier, Zheim

Description :

The position is for an outpatient center that includes walk-in patients.

Fluoroscopy procedures will include modified barium swallows and urodynamics.

The facility is a short-term acute care provider.

Scrub color required is royal blue.

Charting is performed using a specific electronic health record system.

Travelers must be willing to float within the facility.

Candidates will be required to work weekends.

Floating between hospitals may also be necessary.

Travelers should be prepared to work two out of three major holidays.

Candidates are required to have proficiency in various radiological techniques.

Skills include abdomen decubitus, chest routine, and trauma cases.

Experience with pediatric care is a plus.

Compliance with infection prevention protocols is essential.

Infection control and isolation precautions knowledge is also necessary.

The position demands a strong emphasis on patient safety and radiation safety practices.

Excellent communication skills and patient care abilities are essential for success.

Candidates need to be adaptable and willing to work collaboratively in a team setting.
