Director Of Emergency Department
This position will oversee six emergency departments (adult ED, PMCH ED, and four freestanding EDs) at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, IN. The director will be responsible for direct services, workflow, and resources for the assigned nursing area. This includes developing departmental goals and objectives, directing clinical activities, planning, organizing, and directing all activities related to staffing, preparing and monitoring budgets, and coordinating and directing internal and externally-driven audits.
The requirements for this position include a registered nurse credential from the Indiana Board of Nursing, a bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school / college of nursing, and five years of experience required. A master's degree or combination of bachelor's degree and experience preferred. Two years of leadership or management experience required.
