• Other details : The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 2 is looking for a provider to cover beeper call only. There are an average of 1-5 inpatients per shift. Coverage is needed for Urology call starting with orientation on December 11, followed by coverage from December 12 (7 a.m.) to December 15 (7 a.m.) and December 24 (7 a.m.) to December 30 (7 a.m.), with potential ongoing assignments. The position requires 24-hour call coverage from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m., with no in-house requirement, but the provider must be able to respond on-site within 20 minutes. Call volume typically includes 2 4 calls per night with 1 2 expected onsite call-ins, and an average of 2 5 inpatient calls per 24 hours. Providers are expected to round and discharge as needed, spending approximately 2 4 hours per day onsite for rounding or direct care, with the remainder of the time on call. All call-back hours must be documented in detail on timesheets, including the reason and nature of the call-back, while phone calls and chart reviews do not count as onsite hours. Common inpatient procedures include management of kidney stones, CBI consults, stent placements, hematuria management, and difficult catheter placements.
