New Products Application Engineer (AE) Although listed as remote, this role is ideally hybrid with candidates located near our New Orleans headquarters

Travel : Approximately 30-40%

Position Summary

Intralox is seeking an Application Engineer to join our ILOX US Horizontal Food Spiral Engineering team. This is a high-impact, customer-facing engineering role where you will apply technical expertise to real-world challenges, develop innovative solutions , and travel to customer sites to see your work in action. With 30-40% travel , this position is ideal for someone who wants to grow quickly , gain broad industry exposure , and build a career foundation in applications engineering, field engineering, or product leadership.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical resource for customers, including on-site visits, system evaluations, and solution recommendations
• Apply engineering fundamentals to design, evaluate, and optimize conveyor and material-handling solutions in complex environments
• Partner with R&D, Product Management, Manufacturing, and Sales to support customer projects and new applications
• Lead the technical execution of projects, including layout development, performance modeling, installation support, and post-installation validation
• Travel regionally (approximately 30-40%) to conduct audits, troubleshooting, system assessments, and customer training
• Develop clear technical documentation, presentations, and training materials for both internal and external audiences
• Provide structured, data-driven customer feedback to support product improvements and influence future development
• Participate in field testing, data collection, reliability assessments, and performance analysis
