Charge Nurse Position Summary

The Charge Nurse is responsible for leading and supporting nursing staff in the delivery of high-quality, safe, and compliant patient care. This role includes clinical mentorship, documentation oversight, and coordination of staff assignments based on patient needs.

Essential Functions Additional Information

Demonstrates leadership capabilities and a commitment to nursing excellence.

Experience in clinical teaching and quality improvement is strongly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and / or abilities required.

Education : Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program; BSN preferred.

Experience : Minimum of two years in a rehabilitative or acute care setting, with demonstrated leadership ability.

License : Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.

Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) required; CRRN preferred.
