LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist on a temporary basis. This role is located in Miami. Candidate must have 3-way match experience, reconciliations, QuickBooks (if possible).

Worksite Location : 100% Onsite in Miami, FL

Pay : $20-25 / hour

Hours : 40 hours per week, but if someone prefers part time, they can accommodate that as well with 20-25 hours per week. This part Is flexible.

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM–5 : 00 PM (30–60 min lunch)

Accounts Payable Specialist – Summary

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and organized AP Specialist to join our fast-paced finance team. You’ll handle vendor payments, reconcile accounts, and support financial reporting. This role works closely with the Controller and other teams to ensure smooth and accurate processing of invoices and expenses.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable : Process ~500 vendor bills / month using iPoint and QuickBooks; match POs, packing slips, and invoices; manage payments and vendor reconciliations.

Expenses & Reconciliation : Review employee expenses in Ramp; reconcile credit cards and bank accounts monthly; ensure accurate records for audits.

Accounts Receivable : Send ~50 service invoices / month; follow up on overdue payments; apply and record incoming payments.

Reporting & Analysis : Maintain AP aging and cash flow reports; review expense accounts for cost-saving opportunities.

Subcontractor Compliance : Set up new subcontractors; manage W-9s, COIs, and agreements; track expiration dates and 1099 info.

Office Support : Order supplies; manage mail and phone calls.

Collaboration : Work with internal teams and external vendors to improve AP / AR processes.

Qualifications

Required : 2+ years in AP or finance ideally; QuickBooks Desktop; strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Preferred : Experience in construction or project-based industries; knowledge of subcontractor compliance and 1099s; interest in financial analysis.
